According to Erik Van Buggenhout (@ErikVaBu), co-founder of Belgian cybersecurity firm NVISO, “Cyber threats are on the rise. Ransomware is affecting small, medium and large enterprises alike and state-sponsored adversaries are continuing attempts to obtain access to critical information or disrupt critical systems. SEC599: Defeating Advanced Adversaries – Implementing Kill Chain Defenses was created to arm security professionals with the knowledge and expertise to handle today’s threats. SEC599 is uniquely positioned as a course that recognizes a prevent-only strategy is not sufficient and covers how to prevent, detect and respond to advanced attacks. The course is highly hands-on and covers 20+ labs where students have to defend their own fictional organization from attacks.”
