Nicole Forsgren and John Willis Join Electric Cloud Strategic Advisory Board

Electric Cloud, a leader in DevOps Release Automation and Continuous Delivery, today announced the addition of Dr.ย Nicole Forsgrenย andย John Willisย to their Strategic Advisory Board. Forsgren and Willis join existing board membersย Gene Kimย (founder of IT Revolution and co-author of “The Phoenix Project” and “The DevOps Handbook”) andย Gary Gruverย (author and president of Gruver Consulting, LLC), who have been working with the company asย strategic advisors since 2013. Electric Cloud sees these as additions as a sign of it continuing commitment to investing in โ€“ and listening to โ€“ the DevOps community.

Dr.ย Nicole Forsgrenย is CEO and chief scientist at DevOps Research & Assessment (DORA).ย  Her ground-breaking work as the leading investigator of the largest studies on this subject, to date, has helped organizations understand the impact that IT, knowledge management, and DevOps have on business performance. John gained valuable insights into DevOps and containers as founder of container-focused Software Defined Networking startup Socketplane, and has evangelized DevOps practices while working at Dell, Opscode/Chef, and Canonical/Ubuntu.
