“With traditional offshoring models and labor arbitrage in our rear-view mirror, it’s crucial that enterprises today digitize their operations, change the experience and ways they engage with their customers and find the right mix of people and technology to truly transform the enterprise,” said Daniel Goodstein, President of The Outsourcing Institute. “The question of how to do this and whether organizations should buy, build or partner is at the crux of our newly revamped Digital Convergence Conference, part of The Outsourcing Institute’s 2017 programs focused on helping organizations with their enterprise transformation journeys and the new ‘digitally-fueled’ outsourcing.”

“This conference focuses on digital development in the age of various development methods and sourcing strategies. In my experience, this has put increased emphasis on methodology and strong collaboration,” said Rohith Nandagiri, a director at Time Warner who is a session panelist and member of the event advisory board. “The stringing together of playbooks and strategy helps commit to a consistent user experience thereby driving engagement with consumers. It will be exciting to collaborate with colleagues who are sharing similar experiences in various service lines.”

The agenda for the morning includes Procter and Gamble’s keynote session, “The Digital Playbook: How to Survive, Thrive and Out-Compete,” and a keynote presented by Wipro.

The afternoon agenda features “FutureVision: Architecting the Connected Enterprise,” presented by Merck and “Digital Singularity: The Case for Humanity,” presented by Avasant.

“It is true that technology adoption will result in fewer physical and process-oriented jobs, but it will also open the door for a higher level of thinking, innovation, and dreaming,” said Kevin Parikh, global CEO and senior partner, Avasant. “Business leaders have everything to gain from this evolutionary shift, but the key to staying competitive and remaining relevant in the next decade will be to embrace technology which has the potential to drive business further than ever thought possible.”
